Everton manager Ronald Koeman has finally provided Toffees fans with some positive news after ruling himself out of the running for the vacant Netherlands job, according to Voetbal International via Football Oranje.
Following Seamus Coleman’s double leg break and the uncertainty over the futures of Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley, the 54-year-old committing his future to the Merseyside outfit – for the time being at least – will be a boost for everyone involved with the club.
The Toffees are currently in seventh position in the Premier League table, and know that they could close the gap to arch-rivals Liverpool to just three points if they win at Anfield on Saturday.
Everton supporters were quick to have their say on their boss committing his immediate future to the side via social media, with many delighted that he wants to continue the project he has started at Goodison Park.
