On-loan Everton forward Enner Valencia played his final game of the season at Goodison Park on Friday night, and Toffees fans have urged the club to sign the West Ham United player on a permanent deal this summer.

The Ecuador international came on as a half-time substitute in the 1-0 win against Watford on Merseyside, and made a difference from an attacking point of view after a disappointing goalless first 45 against the Hornets.

The 27-year-old has made 21 appearances in all competitions for Ronald Koeman’s men this season – scoring three goals and providing a further two assists – although the majority of those outings have come from the substitutes’ bench.

Nevertheless, Everton supporters took to social media following the final whistle to say that they believe Valencia has been one of their best loan signings in recent season, and many want him to move to the Toffees on a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.
