There is not much positivity surrounding Everton at the moment given that the team are struggling in the Premier League and in Europe.

Only two wins in eight top-flight matches have been recorded by the Merseyside outfit and they face a struggle to make it into the knockout rounds of the Europa League on the back of two defeats and a draw.

On Thursday night the misery continued when the team were beaten 2-1 by Lyon at Goodison Park.

The result was marred by a melee that broke out between players and then spilled into the crowd, with one man caught on camera allegedly throwing a punch at Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes while holding a small child.

On Sunday, the pressure will not ease up on Everton as they host Arsenal, who are looking to respond to their 2-1 loss to Watford last weekend.

Phil Neville, who spent eight years playing for the Toffees, told fans on Twitter that he feels optimistic about the team getting a result against Arsenal.
