Ex-Everton striker turns on Koeman following damaging defeat to Arsenal

Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell uses Twitter regularly to interact with fans and deliver his thoughts on the season.

Before now, the 47-year-old has backed manager Ronald Koeman to turn things around at Goodison Park following a run of poor results.

However, after witnessing the team lose 5-2 to Arsenal on home turf, Campbell’s opinion has changed.

In a series of replies to supporters on Twitter, the retired forward, who began his career at Arsenal, made it clear which side of the fence he was now on.

In nine Premier League games, Everton have won just twice and as a result have fallen into the relegation zone.

In total the club have picked up eight points from a possible 27 and have suffered defeats to Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Burnley and Arsenal.

The team have struggled since losing Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United in the summer having netted just seven times in the top flight.

At the other end of the pitch, the team have conceded 18 league goals so far.
