Jamie Vardy's rise has been nothing short of remarkable. After a sharp rise through the leagues, the English forward won the Premier League last season to cap off the fairy tale - and many thought that it couldn't get better.

Indeed, Arsenal reportedly gave him a chance to improve his trophy haul - with the club keen on a move for him over the summer, but the Leicester City striker chose to remain with his club this season.

Fast forward a few months and that decision has certainly been vindicated - with the Foxes now in the hat for the quarter-finals of the Champions League - one step further than Arsenal were able to reach this season.

Indeed, when Leicester City were struggling earlier in the season, many were claiming that Vardy made the wrong decision and that he should have made a big money switch to London - but now it appears as though his decision to stay at the King Power was a good one.

It seems that the fans agree, too, with many of them taking to Twitter to collectively make fun of Arsenal's lack of success this season, whilst also praising the remarkable rise of Vardy...
