Following Manchester United’s disappointing defeat to Chelsea on Monday night, there was a number of outstanding controversies beyond the end result.
Most notably, the Manchester United players’ conduct on the pitch was brought into question – which subsequently led to an FA charge less than 24 hours later.
With Jose Mourinho seemingly instructing his side to man mark Eden Hazard, the Belgian was fouled a whopping six times – whilst the surrounding of the referee by the Manchester United players after Ander Herrera’s sending off is likely to have had an impact too.
However, perhaps more shockingly, another incident managed to steer clear such an FA response – with Marcos Rojo seemingly avoiding sanction for an alleged stamp on Eden Hazard.
Though missed during the game, the clash was certainly a nasty one – and with Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings succumbing to a 5 game suspension for a very similar incident, fans are not happy with the reaction from the FA.
Indeed, many are even claiming that the lack of charge for Rojo implies a big club bias…
Mings's is a stamp. Rojo's not a stamp. Small club justice v big club justice.

FA once again confirm their big club bias (already shown when Ibrahimovic somehow got lesser ban than Mings) with Rojo decision

Mings 5 game ban. Rojo no ban. #logic

Mings: 5 matches for being unfortunate. Rojo: escapes punishment for deliberately stamping on Hazard's chest. Just love a fair verdict. #FA

Just saw the video of Rojo stamping Hazard. Don't understand how players can be so daft. Sickening stuff. Lucky to avoid ban

Seems crazy that Rojo is going to avoid any punishment for his stamp last night. Lucky boy…

How does Rojo avoid suspensions?
