Roberto Firmino has been a regular feature in the Liverpool team since Jurgen Klopp became manager in October 2015.
The Brazilian is one of the club’s attacking threats, but during Tuesday night’s Champions League match against Spartak Moscow in Russia, the 25-year-old failed to impress.
The fans were excited to see Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah play together for the first time this season.
The quartet displayed pace and flair, but the end product was lacking following Coutinho’s equaliser.
In the end, the Merseyside outfit had to settle for a 1-1 draw, which means that they have just two points from a possible six after two European group fixtures.
Despite dominating the game, Liverpool were unable to find that all-important goal, and it was Firmino who took a lot of the criticism from the watching fans.
It was made even more disappointing for the attacker as he was making his 100th appearance for the club.

A few of those players need a good shake up, Firmino being one of them #LFC

I love Firmino but he was awful tonight. The clamour for a top CF will only increase if he puts in more performances like that. #LFC

How Bobby Firmino lasted 90 mins in that game is beyond me #LFC

The curse of the number 9 shirt is catching up on Firmino I fear. #LFC

I really rate Firmino but the last few games he has had stinkers #lfc

Firmino is not having his best form currently! Very little influence in the game, many miss in passings, not clinical in shooting! #LFC

I would drop Firmino his form since the penalty miss has been shocking tbh I would give Sturridge a start from the beginning #LFC

So far this season, the Brazilian has scored three goals and created two assists in eight appearances in all competitions.
