Jesus Gamez took to Twitter to express his joy in returning to Newcastle United's starting lineup following a lengthy absence. The 31-year-old has only been at the club for a matter of months following his move from Atletico Madrid last summer, but he has started just two Championship games. In fact, he has only featured on five occasions in all competitions, partly because of a broken collarbone and also because other players are standing in his way.Gamez was a surprise inclusion in the lineup for Tuesday night's Championship match against Reading.DeAndre Yedlin was ruled out with a thigh injury, while Vurnon Anita is still working his way back to full fitness after recovering from an ankle problem. The match ended in a goalless stalemate at the Madejski Stadium, but Newcastle remain at the top of the league table with a three-point advantage.Gamez is unlikely to maintain a regular spot in the team when his teammates return to action, but he was happy enough to contribute to the cause on Tuesday night.
