Crystal Palace have reportedly already found their new manager, despite sacking Frank de Boer earlier today.

According to the Daily Mail, former England boss Roy Hodgson will take over on a two-year deal.

The 70-year-old has been out of work since stepping down from the Three Lions following their failed campaign at Euro 2016.

Hodgson has a vast CV, but the last time that he coached at a club was five years ago when in charge of West Bromwich Albion.

Palace released a statement on their official website confirming De Boer's departure, which makes the Dutchman's spell the shortest in Premier League history as he oversaw just four matches.

All of the Eagles' league games ended in defeat, and the team failed to produce a single goal in that time.

The only positive of De Boer's reign was a 2-1 victory over Ipswich Town in the early rounds of the Carabao Cup.

After reports emerged that Hodgson is on the verge of taking the hotseat at Selhurst Park, Palace fans took to Twitter.
