Hull City fans nervous ahead of crucial Sunderland clash

Hull City know they can move a step closer to securing their place in the Premier League next season if they can beat already-relegated Sunderland at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday.

Marco Silva’s men are two points clear of 18th-placed Swansea City going into the weekend’s fixtures and will see the clash against the Mackems as a huge opportunity to add another three points to their tally.

The Portuguese boss will be confident too having gone 41 matches as a manager without suffering a home defeat, which has included 34 wins and seven draws.

Impressively, the east Yorkshire outfit have taken 19 points from 21 available in the top flight on their own turf since Silva took over in January, which has significantly boosted their survival chances.

Hull supporters have been giving their thoughts ahead of the vital clash via social media, and they are understandably both nervous and excited.
