Lee Wallace mocked on Twitter after horror show vs Canada

It’s not quite going to plan for Scotland against Canada in this evening’s international friendly at Easter Road.

Conceding early on thanks to a Fraser Aird effort, they went into half-time drawing 1-1 through a Steven Naismith leveller.

Scotland fans were expecting a big victory against the Canadians and thus far have failed to deliver anything like the performance that people wanted from them.

At the heart of Scotland fans’ ire is the performance of Rangers captain Lee Wallace who has had a tough time against Falkirk’s Fraser Aird.

Also a well known face to Gers fans after his spell at the club, Aird has run the left-back ragged in the match so far and capitalised on a mix-up between Wallace and Charlie Mulgrew to put his country ahead.

With the likes of Andrew Robertson and Kieran Tierney available, Wallace’s selection tonight has puzzled most of the Tartan Army.

They, along with some mischievous Celtic fans, took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the match so far, which at the time of writing is still 1-1…
