10-man Leeds United suffered a 3-1 defeat in their top-of-the-table Championship clash with Cardiff City at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday night, and Whites fans weren't impressed with manager Thomas Christiansen's team selection and tactics.

The 44-year-old made five changes from the side that beat Ipswich Town 3-2 at Elland Road on Saturday, with the returning Pontus Jansson replacing Conor Shaughnessy at the heart of the defence, Gaetano Berardi coming in for the rested Vurnon Anita, Mateusz Klich replacing the ill Eunan O'Kane and Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Samu Saiz dropping to the substitutes' bench in place of Stuart Dallas and Kemar Roofe.

Part of the thinking from Christiansen over the changes was that Lasogga and Saiz in particular struggled during the 1-0 loss at Millwall in Yorkshire outfit's previous away trip, but Liam Cooper's first-half dismissal gave the visitors an uphill task they couldn’t recover from considering they were already 2-0 behind.

Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on the team selection and tactics via social media, and while some said that Christiansen's decision-making was "baffling", others simply said 'he got it completely wrong'.
