Leeds United announced on Friday that they had completed the signing of FC Twente midfielder Mateusz Klich for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.
Whites chairman and owner Andrea Radrizzani was quick to welcome the 27-year-old to Elland Road via social media, as he becomes the first signing for the club since Thomas Christiansen was named as Garry Monk’s successor earlier this month.

Klich scored six goals in 30 appearances for the Eredivisie outfit last term and could be one of just a number of arrivals at the Championship club this summer as they look to push for promotion to the Premier League next season.
Leeds supporters were quick to respond to Radrizzani’s tweet and while many congratulated him on bringing Klich to Elland Road, other told him that they more signings and for him to get his cheque book out and spend some money on the squad.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…

Brilliant Andrea, but we need many more BRILLIANT signings. Us Leeds fans have been through enough mediocre seasons. Bring on the good times

Dont put that cheque book away, a couple of centre halves a left back, a tricky winger and a striker with pace and we are all set #MOT
