Top of the Championship table, a cosmopolitan array of stars and a manger who finally seems to be getting the best out of his squad. It’s not a bad time to be a Leeds fan.
Year upon year, the clubs exceptionally loyal following have had to put up with disarray both on and off the pitch, but now it seems to all be going right.
And in a bid to improve their squad even further, reports are suggesting that the club will make a move for Japanese international midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi.
The 21-year-old is highly thought of in his native country and is considered the next superstar of Japanese football.
Not only are Leeds fans looking forward to seeing the young talent in the famous white shirt, they are also impressed with the signing, citing market improvements in Asia as a major influence of the move.
And some fans took to Twitter to praise their clubs approach for Ideguchi…
Would be a great signing, looks quality & great way of reaching out to whole new fan base in Asia MOT.

Sounds like he's tipped as one of Japan's biggest talents by all accounts. More than just a promotional tool I would have thought.

You'll never lose out as a club by getting our clubs name in Japan, player has lot of ability apparently, so possible win/win. AR is BAE.
