Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani took to his Twitter account to send a message to supporters following the club's 2-1 defeat against Derby County at Elland Road on Tuesday night – which continued their poor run of form – and Whites fans were quick to respond to his comments.

The loss to the Rams means that the Yorkshire outfit have now lost six of their last eight Championship fixtures in a sequence of results that is starting to look like more than just a blip.

Despite Pierre-Michel Lasogga giving Thomas Christiansen's men the lead early on, a brace from Sam Winnall ensured they were beaten 2-1 for the second consecutive home match.

Radrizzani took to Twitter following the game to say "we are building a solid project" and "I believe in my team" despite the frustrations of the Elland Road faithful increasing week by week.

Leeds supporters were quick to have their saw on the Italian's comments via social media, and while some said they are "wise words" considering some of the knee-jerk decisions that have been made in the past, others informed him to "sack Orta now".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction...
