Leeds fans slam Cameron Borthwick-Jackson after win against Burnley

Leeds United advanced through to the fourth round of the EFL Cup as they beat Burnley 5-3 on penalties after the match had finished 2-2 at Turf Moor on Tuesday night, but Whites fans were not impressed with the performance of Manchester United loanee Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.

The 20-year-old has found first team opportunities hard to come by since making the season-long move to Elland Road last month – featuring for just 262 minutes in the 10 matches he has been available for so far – but he was given a rare opportunity at left-back against the Clarets.

However, the young Red Devils struggled to deal with Burnley’s attackers and often found himself out of position before being replaced by Hadi Sacko on the hour-mark.

Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on his showing via social media, and while some said he isn’t “fit to wear the shirt”, others have gone even further and said they don’t want him to play for the club again.
