Leeds fans slam Pierre-Michel Lasogga after Sheffield United defeat

Leeds United failed to build on their 3-0 win against Bristol City last weekend as they were beaten 2-1 by Sheffield United at Elland Road on Friday night, and Whites fans weren’t impressed with Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s performance.

The Hamburg loanee was once again handed the lone striker role following a goal and an assist against the Robins last Saturday, but he wasn’t able to have the same impact in the final third against the Blades, who moved to the top of the Championship standings with the victory.

The 25-year-old struggled in the air and against the Sheffield United defenders while his work rate left a little to be desired even though he perhaps didn’t receive the supply that he should have.

Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on his showing via social media, and while some described him as a “donkey”, others went a little further and said they are “starting to dislike Lasogga with a passion”.
