Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post in his pre-match press conference for the clash against Reading at Elland Road on Saturday, Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen came out and backed goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald following a difficult run of results, but Whites fans believe he is making a “big mistake”.
Strong backing for Wiedwald from Christiansen today. "I have confidence in all my goalkeepers." Says his confidence hasn't dropped.

The Yorkshire outfit signed the 27-year-old stopper from Werder Bremen during the summer and he has quickly established himself as first-choice under Christiansen.
However despite keeping six successive clean sheets earlier in the campaign, the German has come under scrutiny from the Elland Road faithful following some disappointing performances and poor command of his area in their last four Championship fixtures, in which they have conceded nine goals.
Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on Christiansen’s comments via social media, and while one believes he is making a “big mistake” by keeping faith with Wiedwald, another says “he’s not good enough”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
If you're not brave as a goalkeeper and can't deal with crosses, it doesn't really matter how good your other attributes are.

If he improves in these areas by all means keep with him but sheff wed wasn't the first game he's come under pressure, weakest member for me

Drop him otherwise we are in trouble reading will already be working out this keeper glued to his line

I guess there's no change there then. He needs to be dropped. It's the only way that Wiedwald will learn.
