Leeds United manager Garry Monk says the players are looking to deliver a strong performance when they host Preston North End at Elland Road on Saturday.

The Whites’ play-off spot has come under threat following successive defeats on the road against Reading and Brentford in the last week, but the manager believes they will bounce back against Simon Grayson’s men at the weekend.
Those losses have left them just five points above seventh-placed Fulham in the standings, and it won’t be an easy task against a Preston team that have top six aspirations of their own – the Lilywhites are five points adrift of Sheffield Wednesday in the final play-off spot.
Leeds supporters were quick to give their response to the update from their boss via social media, and while some said they are fully behind the former Swansea manager, others want to see the talking done on the pitch.
