Leeds United supporters have voiced their desire on Twitter for the club to bring back Jonny Howson.

The Yorkshire Evening News claims that the midfielder has turned down a new contract from the Canaries because he wants to return to the North.

Howson moved to Carrow Road from Leeds in 2012, six years after graduating from the Whites' youth academy.

It is believed that due to Howson's desire to leave, Norwich will listen to offers, but will only reportedly entertain bids in excess of £4m.

The midfielder still has two years remaining on his contract, but plenty of Leeds fans think the club will be making the right call if they bring him back to Elland Road.

The Whites are going through a turbulent time following Garry Monk's shock departure.

The former Swansea City boss was widely expected to sign a new contract, but after failing to come to an agreement with new sole owner Andrea Radrizzani, Monk opted to walk away.
