Leeds United supporters have congratulated Gaetano Berardi for picking up the club’s Louis Erard Player of the Month award for February.
The 28-year-old received 44% of the fan vote, beating teammates Rob Green, Chris Wood and Stuart Dallas.

The Swiss player has shone since coming back into the team as cover for Charlie Taylor during his injury.
Berardi impressed so much that he has managed to keep a place in the team following Taylor’s return to action.
The former Sampdoria player’s versatility has been hugely important given that he can switch from right-back to left-back.
As a reward for his fine performances, Berardi has picked up the club’s monthly award for the first time this season.
Wood is the only player to collect the gong twice this season, while Marcus Antonsson, Pontus Jansson, Kemar Roofe and Kyle Bartley have also been winners.
The fans were quick to praise Berardi when the club announced him as the recipient of the award, and some have urged Leeds to hand him a new contract.
