According to reports in the Sunday Sun, Leeds United are set to sack manager Garry Monk after the club failed to make the Championship play-offs.
Despite spending the majority of the campaign in the top six and coming from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Norwich City at Elland Road on Saturday, it wasn’t enough to stop the Whites missing out on the end of season lottery.
The Yorkshire outfit lie three points behind sixth-placed Fulham ahead of their final day clash away at Wigan Athletic, but their significantly inferior goal difference to the Cottagers mean that the race is effectively over.
Leeds fans were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and they are in disbelief that the board could be ready to make another change after what has been an improved campaign for the club after a number of disappointing years at this level.
