Leeds United supporters have urged Max Gradel to return to the club amid reports that he wants to leave Bournemouth.

The 29-year-old has told BBC Sport that he wants to end his two-year spell at the Vitality Stadium due to a lack of game time.

The Ivory Coast international has made just 11 appearances in all competitions for the Cherries this season.

BBC Sport claims that Gradel is concerned that his international career could dwindle if he fails to earn more regular first-team football, but Bournemouth do not want him to leave.

The Ivorian has just over two years remaining on his current deal with the Cherries, but his desire to leave suggests that he will force through a transfer.

After hearing the news, Leeds fans called on the club to make a move for Gradel, who joined the Whites for a year-long spell after an initial loan stint.

The attacker has scored just one goal and registered two assists in 23 Premier League appearances since joining Bournemouth from St Etienne in 2015, but some Leeds fans want him back.

Gradel fuelled rumours that he would be open to a return to Elland Road when he responded to a Leeds fan on Twitter.
