Leeds United manager Garry Monk has hailed the sense of "togetherness" that encompasses the club after attending an event with supporters. The 38-year-old and members of his coaching staff were the guests at 'An Evening with...' event hosted by the Championship club.It gave supporters an opportunity to take part in a Q&A in a more relaxed setting with their team's manager.

For so long, off-field issues have been the main focus of the club, but following Monk's appointment, people are taking note of performances on the pitch.

The Whites are firmly in the fight for Premier League promotion as they currently sit fourth in the table.

After sealing a 2-0 victory over fellow top-flight chasers Brighton last weekend, Leeds are still within a shout of automatic promotion.

As it stands, Monk's men are eight points adrift of second-placed Brighton and nine behind table toppers Newcastle United.

Leeds will play Reading away on April 1 after the international break.
