Leeds United’s Berardi expects plenty of fan power against Ipswich

Leeds United have had a positive start to the season after narrowly missing out on a playoff spot in the 2016-17 campaign.

Garry Monk transformed the team into promotion challengers, but it has been new manager Thomas Christiansen’s responsibility to carry it through.

Everything seems to be going to plan as the club currently reside at the top of the Championship table after eight matches.

The Whites have won five, drawn two and lost one, but Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cardiff City are hot on their heels as all three have 17 points heading into this weekend’s action.

There is some pressure on Leeds shoulders given that their last outing ended in disappointment.

Christiansen’s team faced Millwall away, but they were unable to find the back of the net, eventually conceding a 73rd-minute goal from Aiden O’Brien.

The team will hope to get back to winning ways when they welcome Ipswich Town to Elland Road, and Berardi expects the stadium to be rocking.
