Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been linked with a move away from the Reds throughout the season after struggling to break into the first team under Jurgen Klopp this season because of injury and the German preferring the likes of Roberto Firmino up top.
However, with the Brazilian left out of the squad for the trip to West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday because of a knock, Sturridge was named in the starting XI in a Premier League match for the first time since January and he made a big impression.
The England international is said to be a target for the Irons among others this summer, but he certainly showed that he still has the ability to make a difference for the Merseyside outfit in the future by showing great composure to score their opener in the 4-0 success against the Hammers, while his movement was superb throughout.
Liverpool supporters were quick to give their opinions on the performance of the 27-year-old, and they are starting to have second thoughts and believe he could still have a future at Anfield.

Having second thoughts about Sturridge. I know I can't be the only one. The guy is unstoppable when he is fit. #LFC

Based solely on ability selling Sturridge would be madness. Decision isn't solely on ability though and that's the dilemma. #lfc
