According to reports in the Daily Mail, Liverpool are closing in on an initial £35m deal to sign Roma winger Mohamed Salah, which could rise to £40m with add-ons.
The 25-year-old moved to the Italian capital following a disappointing spell in England with Chelsea, but he certainly looks to have improved since then having scored 19 goals and provided a further 15 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A giants last season.
The forward will boost a Reds frontline that already includes the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane, with Jurgen Klopp’s men looking to have a huge goal threat if the move for the Egypt international goes though.
Liverpool supporters were quick to have their say on the potential deal for Salah via social media, with many relieved that a deal is close following a number of setbacks this summer, while others are excited to see what he can do in the Premier League next season.

Salah can really bolster #LFC's attacking talent but I think we need more of a clinical striker so all that creativity will not waste

Manè and Salah on the wings, I'd hate to be the full backs against us next season #LFC
