According to Bild, Liverpool are among three Premier League clubs interested in signing Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller in this summer's transfer window.

The 27-year-old only managed nine goals in all competitions last season, and it has been claimed that the German is considering his future at the Allianz Arena.

Manchester United have previously been credited with an interest in the talented forward, but Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are the three teams said to be in the running.

Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah have both arrived at Anfield this summer to boost Liverpool's attack, but it is understood that head coach Jurgen Klopp still wants a statement signing.

It has not taken long for Liverpool's supporters to catch wind of the possible interest, and it would be fair to say that the Merseyside club's fans would welcome the arrival of Muller to Anfield.

Muller has spent his entire career with Bayern – scoring 161 times for the German giants and winning 16 trophies during a glittering career at the Allianz Arena. However, this summer could see the forward's career in Germany come to an end.
