Liverpool fans have aired their annoyance on Twitter after seeing that Alberto Moreno has been once again named in Jurgen Klopp's starting XI.

The Spaniard has been handed the left-back slot for this evening's Champions League qualifying first leg against Hoffenheim in Germany.

This follows his starting berth in Saturday's Premier League opener against Watford, which ended in a 3-3 draw.

In fact, Klopp has named the same team that began the match at Vicarage Road, meaning that there is still no Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge or Adam Lallana.

Moreno was dropped by his manager last season, with James Milner being preferred in the full-back position, despite it not being the Englishman's traditional role.

Even though the 31-year-old held the position for the majority of the 2016-17 campaign, Klopp has seemingly been left impressed by Moreno's pre-season form.

The Liverpool boss may look at the former Sevilla man in a new light, but the fans are certainly not, judging by the reaction on Twitter.
