Sorry Liverpool fans. The most interminable transfer story of 2017 has reared its ugly head again, as Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona rumours arise once more.
The reason for the latest string of rumours arrive on the back of the latest comments from Barcelona Chief Executive Oscar Grau, who revealed some interesting information at a press conference on Wednesday;
“We are [financially] prepared to sign Coutinho or any other player in January. What we want is to have the most competitive squad possible. We will look at [signing players], even if there aren’t any sales.”
This news will come as no surprise to Liverpool fans, who have had to face incessant approaches by Barcelona for the clubs’ star man. However, for some, enough is enough and those fans have turned to Twitter to vent their frustrations and anger following these latest comments from the Spanish giants.
Why can Barca just say they want to buy Coutinho in Jan? I would like to see LFC/FSG make a formal complaint if they don't welcome a bid.

The audacity from the Catalan club still genuinely shocks me. Claiming #LFC have promised him a January move…. after the summer? Odd.
