Liverpool ran out comfortable 3-0 winners in their pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night, and it gave Reds fans the opportunity to see Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah play together for the first time.

The former has only just returned from injury while the latter has already been making a big impression following his summer move from AS Roma.

Both players also got on the scoresheet as Mane gave Jurgen Klopp’s men the lead by slotting home from Roberto Firmino’s pass, before the Senegal international played a big part in Salah’s goal.

The winger flicked the ball on to Alberto Moreno, and after the Spaniard’s effort was saved the Egyptian wide-man headed home before Daniel Sturridge added a third.

Liverpool supporters were quick to have their say on the performance of the duo via social media, and they are already excited at what they could produce in the upcoming Premier League season, with some describing the pair as "lethal" and the prospect of seeing them link up as "mouth-watering".
