Liverpool have had it tough over the course of the past few weeks on the injury front. Captain Jordan Henderson has been sidelined for a while, Adam Lallana’s international break thigh problem came as a blow and Sadio Mane’s season-ending knee set-back has reduced some to tears (well, perhaps).
You’d think that lady luck owed the Reds one heading into this weekend’s Stoke clash, but Jurgen Klopp revealed today that Philippe Coutinho may miss the trip to face the Potters with an illness.

The Brazilian netted his side’s opening goal in the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Wednesday but was withdrawn with just over an hour played and appeared to be in some discomfort. With the aforementioned trio out of action, the Merseysiders will be hoping that he can return to full health in time and reaction to the above tweet from the club got quite a reaction…
