Everton fans will be well aware of the massive struggle their side has on their hands to keep Romelu Lukaku at Goodison Park and the Belgian has dropped a big hint to suggest he may seek an exit.

The Belgian striker has excelled on Merseyside since arriving from Chelsea for a club-record fee and he's been in fantastic form this season as he's netted 16 Premier League goals- a tally only Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez can better.

It's clear that Lukaku should be playing at the pinnacle of football's level and that's where Everton's issues arise, as they're still some way off playing in the Champions League- a competition where, in Lukaku's own words, reputations are made.

Lukaku clearly enjoyed Manchester City's 5-3 victory over Monaco last night, where the Citizens rallied back from a 3-2 deficit, but his comments will have done nothing to appease speculation he will look to leave the club.

If a suitor makes an approach this summer and offers Champions League football, it may be too difficult for Lukaku to turn down.
