Saul Niguez has been in excellent form for Atletico Madrid over the last couple of seasons - registering 18 goals for the Madrid club since the start of the 2015-16 campaign.

The 22-year-old's numbers are even more impressive for a player that used to operate at centre-back, and it has previously been reported that Man United are firm admirers of the Spaniard.

Saul again showed his talent to the world when he scored a hat-trick for Spain Under-21s on Tuesday night as La Roja beat Italy 3-1 in the semi-finals of the Under-21 European Championships in Poland.

All three of Saul's efforts against Italy were impressive, and Red Devils goalkeeper David de Gea took to his own personal Twitter account to comment on the midfielder's performance.

Perhaps unexpectedly, De Gea's response selection was flooded with messages from Man United fans, who want their number one goalkeeper to use his Atletico and indeed Spain connections to convince Saul to make the move to Old Trafford this summer.
