According to ESPN’s Manchester United correspondent Rob Dawson on Twitter, Romelu Lukaku is a doubt for the Crystal Palace match and faces a late fitness test, and Red Devils fans are concerned at the news.
The Belgium international has hit the ground running at Old Trafford following his summer move from Everton, scoring 10 goals in nine matches in all competitions – including the winner in the 1-0 victory against Southampton at St Mary’s last weekend.
However, now Rob Dawson says on his official Twitter account that the 24-year-old could miss out against the Eagles after picking up a knock in training, which would be a huge blow to Jose Mourinho and the team as they look to continue their free-scoring start to the campaign.
Manchester United supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and while some said it would be a “disaster” if the centre-forward didn’t make it, others simply described it as “bad news”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…

Bit of a worry though missing our best forward against what will probably be the most anti football side to come to OT this season.
