Matteo Darmian struggled to impress at left-back for Manchester United in their 2-2 draw against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday, and Red Devils fans are craving the return of Luke Shaw from injury to take the spot.
Jose Mourinho’s men were looking to make it four wins from their opening four Premier League matches of the season when they faced Mark Hughes' men, but they conceded their first league goal this term when Mame Biram Diouf crossed from the right for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to score just before the break.
Darmian perhaps should have done better on that occasion and he looked a little shaky defensively throughout the encounter, although both Phil Jones and Eric Bailly also appeared a little vulnerable.
Meanwhile, Shaw looks to be on the verge of returning to the first team picture following injury and he appeared for the Under-23 side for the third time this season against Arsenal on Friday.
Man United supporters were quick to take to social media following the draw against Stoke, and many were saying that they need the former Southampton man back as soon as possible.
