Andreas Pereira has travelled with the Manchester United squad for their pre-season tour of the United States this summer as the midfielder looks to make the grade at Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old joined Man United from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in 2011, and has scored once in 13 first-team appearances for the Red Devils.

Pereira spent the 2016-17 campaign on loan at La Liga outfit Granada in a bid to gain first-team experience, and a successful spell saw the midfielder score five times in 37 appearances for the Spanish outfit, before returning to England.

Man United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be an admirer of Pereira's talents, and the Belgian will be given the chance to make an impression on his manager during pre-season, which features matches against Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Pereira recently confirmed that he would be making the trip to North America, which brought a flood of messages from Man United supporters backing the midfielder to make the grade at the Theatre of Dreams.
