Isco was the hero for Spain as they moved a step closer to sealing their spot at the 2018 World Cup with a 3-0 victory against Italy on Saturday, and his performance certainly didn’t go unnoticed by Manchester United fans.

The 25-year-old was handed a more advanced role as manager Julen Lopetegui decided to start with an out-and-out striker on the pitch, and the move paid off as the Real Madrid man scored a first-half brace.

His first goal was a magnificent free-kick that beat Gianluigi Buffon in the Italy goal, before he added a second five minutes before the interval with a shot from outside the penalty area.

Man United supporters were certainly impressed with what they saw and took to social media to give their thoughts on the playmaker’s performance, and many want the club to target Isco over another Real star in Gareth Bale.
