Man United supporters pay tribute to club’s POTM

Paul Pogba has been named Manchester United’s Player of the Month for August after an impressive start to the 2017-18 campaign for the France international.

Pogba has scored twice and provided one assist in three Premier League appearances for the Red Devils this season, with his performances drawing a host of praise.

The powerful midfielder was criticised for an inconsistent 2016-17 season following an £89m move from Juventus, but the early signs are positive as he grows with each passing match.

Man United will look to make it four straight Premier League wins when they visit Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, although the Red Devils have not won at the Britannia Stadium in the league since 2013.

The 20-time English champions will then begin their Champions League Group Stage campaign at home to Basel next week, where Pogba will be looking to inspire his team once again.

Many claimed that the 49-cap France international was overpriced at £89m last summer, but when considering the incredible figures that were paid during the recent window, the midfielder might well turn out to be a bargain.

One thing is for certain, Man United supporters are delighted to have Pogba back at the club.
