Manchester United fans are loving the impact of Mourinho’s substitutions

Manchester United continued their perfect start to the English Premier League season on Saturday with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford.

That’s now three wins from three for Jose Mourinho’s men and it’s looking like it’ll take a very special performance to stop the Red Devils in their tracks in their current form.

It was Mourinho’s substitutions that again had a bit outcome on the match. In their first two matches it was Anthony Martial getting plaudits for making an impact from the bench but this time it was the turn of the man Martial replaced in the starting line up vs the Foxes; Marcus Rashford.

The young Englishman opened the scoring with 20 minutes left, just as it looked like Leicester might be able to take a point away from Old Trafford. His effort was then followed up by another substitute, Marouane Fellaini, who put the game beyond doubt in the 82nd minute.

It highlights the squad depth Mourinho currently has to call upon and shows that even on a day their starters aren’t getting the job done, they can still find a way to win.

Supporters are loving the impact of the Man United boss’ in-game decisions and took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all…
