Manchester United suffered their first English Premier League defeat of the season on Saturday after Huddersfield Town shocked the title contenders with a 2-1 home victory.

United were the architects of their own demise with two errors from Juan Mata and Victor Lindelof allowing Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre to put the Terriers two goals up in the space of five first half minutes.

Jose Mourinho's side rallied in the second half and managed to peg the home side back through Marcus Rashford with 12 minutes remaining but it was too little, too late and Huddersfield held on for a famous victory.

Fans of course weren't happy with the display and beyond the individual errors from Lindelof and Mata, levelled most of their criticism towards manager Mourinho for a half-time substitution.

Anthony Martial was hauled off at the break with goalscorer Rashford coming on, but fans were perplexed that Jesse Lingard managed to stay on the pitch, with his performance perceived to have been as ineffectual as Martial in the first half.

Supporters want to see Martial and Rashford play together and felt that being two goals down, it was the perfect opportunity.

They took to Twitter in the wake of Saturday's action to share their thoughts...
