Manchester United’s Bailly drops hint about Ibrahimovic future

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has dropped the biggest hint yet that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to the club.

The former Barcelona star is currently a free agent after injury forced him to leave Old Trafford in the summer.

The 35-year-old had a stellar season at the North-West outfit, scoring 28 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions after joining on a one-year deal from Paris Saint-Germain.

Towards the end of the campaign, Ibrahimovic suffered ligament damage in his knee, which resulted in United scrapping their offer of a one-year extension.

However, it seems that all is not lost with regards to the striker’s career at Old Trafford as he has been working with the club’s medical team to recover from his injury woes.

The ex-AC Milan star has been documenting his return to fitness on social media, suggesting that he could be ready for action in time for the second half of the season.

United manager Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to bring Ibrahimovic back to the club in a playing capacity, and according toΒ ESPN, a deal could be signed this week.

Bailly posted a playful video to Instagram, suggesting that the striker will become his teammate again.

Hope you're almost ready to return, @iamzlatanibrahimovic, I'll be right here! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘ŠπŸΎ
