Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have bizarrely formed a partnership over the last few years, despite playing for bitter enemies Manchester United and Liverpool respectively. The pair's punditry duties at Sky Sports has seen them learn how to work together, and even sometimes agree with one another during their analysis of the game. However, they still have time to launch playful jibes at one another, with Neville striking first after Carragher was included in Liverpool's squad for a post-season friendly. The retired defender will join his fellow former teammates Steven Gerrard and Daniel Agger in a trip to Australia to face Sydney FC on Wednesday. As well as Steve McManaman, the Liverpool veterans will be joined by Jurgen Klopp's current first team as they close off the season that ended with a fourth-place finish. In a jibe at Carragher, Neville reminded his colleague that the ex-Liverpool player criticised Klopp's defence throughout the season.

Carragher hit back by taking a dig at Neville's failed three-month spell as Valencia boss - his first foray into management.
