After winning three straight English Premier League matches, Newcastle United were brought back down to Earth with a bump on Sunday by Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chris Hughton's side picked up a vital three points against the Magpies in a close fought 1-0 win that left Newcastle frustrated they couldn't hit the back of the net.

Chances fell their way but Rafa Benitez's men could get the ball over the line and had to make the long journey home without reward after Tomer Hemed's strike early in the second half.

Newcastle are now looking ahead to a stern challenge next week at home to Liverpool and fans are already discussing changes they'd like to see to the line-up for that one.

One man they're not keen on seeing in the midfield that day is Isaac Hayden. The 22-year-old failed to have any impact on Sunday's match and was eventually hooked by Benitez, to be replaced by Jonjo Shelvey.

Supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance, with few having kind words...
