Most players in the Premier League are away on international duty for the next week or so.

DeAndre Yedlin is one of those who has switched his focus to World Cup qualifiers, as his USA team look to take on Panama and Trinidad and Tobago.

The Newcastle United player, who can play as right-back or wide in midfield, has struggled for game time this season under manager Rafael Benitez.

The 24-year-old has started three top-flight fixtures so far, racking up 270 minutes on the pitch.

Yedlin is currently with his USA teammates preparing for their upcoming fixtures, and the former Tottenham Hotspur player decided to upload a picture to Twitter of himself training.

A number of Newcastle fans commented on the piece, with a couple jokingly asking Yedlin to bring Christian Pulisic back to St James' Park with him.

The 19-year-old has caught the eye of the football world while at Borussia Dortmund, where he has scored five goals and created seven assists in 36 Bundesliga appearances.

Other fans just opted to wish him well and warn against getting injured.
