Nottingham Forest suffered their third successive Championship defeat – and their fourth in all competitions – as they were beaten 3-1 by Fulham at the City Ground on Tuesday night, and Reds fans were far from impressed with Matt Mills' performance at the back.

The 31-year-old started alongside Joe Worrall and Michael Mancienne in the three-man defence, and he played Cottagers attacker Aboubakar Kamara onside for the visitors' first goal, before giving away the free-kick that Stefan Johansen superbly put away to give Fulham a 2-1 lead.

Mark Warburton's men have now conceded 12 goals in their last four fixtures and the former Rangers boss may feel that it is time for changes in the backline when they host Sheffield United on Saturday.

Nottingham Forest supporters were quick to have their say on Mills' showing via social media, and while some described the defender as "truly awful", others want Warburton to "put him in the reserves".
