Ozil hints he is ready to return to Arsenal lineup

Judging from Mesut Ozil’s latest social media post, the Arsenal midfielder looks ready to return to action.

The German World Cup winner has not been part of Arsene Wenger’s starting lineup since September 9 due to a knee injury.

Ozil made the bench for the Gunners’ 2-0 triumph over West Bromwich Albion around a fortnight ago, but he has generally been in the background.

The midfielder has had time to get himself back to full fitness given that he was not included in the Germany squad for recent World Cup qualifiers, but it remains to be seen whether he will be selected this weekend.

The North London outfit will take on Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday, and Ozil opted to show off his freestyle skills with a video on Twitter.

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last four league games having recorded three wins and one draw.

As it stands, the club, who finished outside of the Champions League spots last season, sit fifth in the table, six points off leaders Manchester City.
