Rangers fans are losing patience with Carlos Pena

Rangers got back to winnings ways this weekend with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Hamilton in a dramatic Friday night fixture.

The Light Blues had to come from behind after the home side opened the scoring after just a minute, with Declan John, Daniel Candeias and  Graham Dorrans all netting across the 90 minutes.

The match was littered with dramatic moments including the sending off of Ryan Jack and the officials failing to spot a Carlos Pena elbow on Greg Docherty.

The Mexican was on a yellow card and had it been spotted, he surely would have seen red. The incident is serious enough that it’s being reported he could face retrospective action.

Starting his second match in a row, and with Kenny Miller out of the first team squad, it was an opportunity for the new Rangers signing to impress but he looked significantly off the pace again, failing to really get into the match before being substituted off in the 55th minute.

His performance was not appreciated by Rangers fans and they took to Twitter to share their dismay…
