Rangers fans are loving Caixinha’s tough treatment of Forrester

As reported by The Daily Record, Pedro Caixinha has banished Rangers midfielder Harry Forrester from first-team training, also advising him to find a new club.

It’s a particularly bold action but a sign that the manager is stamping his authority on his new look squad at Auchenhowie.

It’s not clear why the midfielder has been sent packing but The Daily Record report that it came after a workout and that the 26 year old had previously been sent away from training due to Caixinha being unimpressed with his attitude.

Rangers have a summer of hard work ahead if they’re to start to close the gap on Celtic and it’s clear the Portuguese is determined to get them there, even if it means laying down the law for players he feels aren’t keeping up.

The move hasn’t really come as a surprise to Light Blues fans who feel like Forrester is wasting his talent. They’re also enjoying the way Caixinha is setting standards at the club.
