Rangers slipped to another derby defeat against Brendan Rodgers' Celtic on Saturday, beaten 2-0 in a dominant performance from the Hoops.

Competing well for some of the first half, the Light Blues took the Scottish champions into the break level at 0-0.

However, Tom Rogic got the scoring underway early in the second half before Leigh Griffiths got in behind the defensive line and buried a Patrick Roberts through ball.

It's the third defeat to Celtic at Ibrox in a row, piling misery and pressure on Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha, who had hoped his summer recruitment would allow them to compete with the visitors today.

One summer arrival is not getting a very warm reception though. Carlos Pena started today's game at the expense of Kenny Miller and supporters were not happy with his performance. Rarely getting himself on the ball in the first half, Pena was eventually hooked in the 53rd minute.

By that point Rangers fans were glad to see him substituted and took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance...
